Like all of you, I found the news that came from Stage 3 of the Giro D’Italia last week both shocking and deeply upsetting.

As I read of Wouter Weylandt’s passing on the descent from the Passo del Bocco on the way home from work last Monday, I was left feeling a desperate urge to do something – anything – to help.

Therefore, I’ve asked Milltag that all of my profits from the sales of the ‘Tommy’ jersey I designed for their GB Legends series go to Wouter’s family.

Tom Simpson also lost his life on a mountain at a Grand Tour, so it seemed only fitting that one fallen idol could in some small way help the family of another.
